Preliminary Exercise 7: Storyboarding Camerawork: Shot Sizes, Camera angles, Framing and Camera Composition Post 1: Day 2

 U'Nika Smith

12/13/23

period 7

In the storyboards, I needed to create a chronological story in a simple conduct of art. Outlining the objectives and annualize the scrips for each scene. The direct information on the page knowing what's happening in the story for sketching detail to detail. Then after you can finalize the product you've made and see the results. The skills you would need would be strong visuals and know how to put a story together. The objective of sheet #3-4 is to better understand or grasp the attention of the important aspects of the events happening in the story from a big jump to certain scenes.

The categories of camerawork techniques I will be executing in this assignment will be:
Shot Sizes- Establishing Shot, Wide Shot, Full shot, Master, Medium-Close up, Medium Shot, Master Shot
Camera Angles- Knee-level angle, Over the Shoulder angle, Dutch Angle, High Angle, Low Angle, Overhead Angle,
Framing- Single Shot, Two Shot, Close Up Shot, Insert Shot, One Shot, Crowd Shot,
Composition- Symmetrical, Asymmetrical, Rules of Shot,

Reflection

The techniques used for manufacturing that result in media products will be taught to students, along with how and why media texts are created in the film industry. In order to produce important camerawork shots for the exercise, they will also use storyboard sheets to plan shots.
I learned how to properly make a storyboard. I would say it is easy as long as you know what you are doing but would be difficult if you are not frequent or know how to create a concept of your own. I did accomplish the goal of the assignment. Jada B and I have created the sketches so far and agreed on them. We have used YouTube, Google image references, notes, and pencil to do the work.
